These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cyprus Furniture website and your dealings with us regarding the furniture and related products we display. By browsing this site or contacting us through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About This Site
This website is a showcase and enquiry platform for Cyprus Furniture's furniture range. It is not an online store — there is no checkout or online payment on the site. Every listed price is shown in EUR and is for reference only; a small number of custom or made-to-order pieces are marked “price on request” and are quoted individually. All product photos, colours, dimensions and descriptions are provided in good faith to represent each item as accurately as possible, but minor variations in colour, wood grain, upholstery and finish are natural in handmade furniture and do not constitute a defect.
2. Enquiries and Orders
Orders are not placed through the website itself. Instead, you enquire about a product or a custom piece via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact and custom furniture forms on this site, and an order is only confirmed once we have agreed the final price, dimensions, materials, colour, and delivery timeline with you directly — typically over WhatsApp or in person at our showroom. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer to sell; it is an invitation for you to enquire.
3. Custom Furniture Orders
For custom-made pieces, the specifications you submit (dimensions, material, fabric, colour and any other details) are used to prepare a quote and are not final until confirmed by us in writing or over WhatsApp. Lead times for custom orders vary by piece and workload and are communicated at the time of order confirmation, not guaranteed by any figure shown elsewhere on the site. We may request a deposit before beginning production of a custom order; the deposit amount and terms will be agreed with you directly and are not published on this site.
4. Delivery
Delivery is arranged directly with you once an order is confirmed, and timing depends on the item, your location, and whether the piece is in stock or made to order. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect furniture on delivery and raise any transport damage with us immediately.
5. Warranty
Furniture we manufacture is covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, improper care, accidents, unauthorised modification, or upholstery/fabric wear from everyday use. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your proof of purchase and a description (and, where possible, photos) of the issue, and we will assess repair or replacement at our discretion.
6. Cancellations
Because most orders are made to order or specially sourced, any cancellation, and whether a deposit already paid can be refunded, is handled case by case once we know how far production has progressed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an order.
7. Website Content and Intellectual Property
All text, photography, graphics and branding on this website belong to Cyprus Furniture or are used with permission, and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused commercially without our prior written consent.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use this website, and the contact and custom furniture forms, only to make genuine enquiries about our products and services, and not to submit false, misleading, or abusive information through them.
9. Limitation of Liability
While we take care to keep this website accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that every product shown is currently in stock or that colours will display identically on every screen. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyprus Furniture is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate. The “Last updated” date above shows when this page was last revised. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have where you live.
